How to use RWI Human Rights ThemeMaps

The pop-up menus at the blue bar at the top will allow you to generate the ratification status of the convention of your choice. To the right on the blue bar there are buttons for restoring the map to its original form (1:1), to zoom in (+) or out (-) and to drag the mouse to choose an area to enlarge (after having pressed 'zoom'). You may also choose an option by double clicking anywhere on the map. The arrows enable you to pan the map once you have zoomed in but panning can also be done dragging the mouse. Pointing on a country gives you some basic information, presently including the ranking according to the UNDP Human Development Index. By clicking on a country, options for links will appear, including the country page from the OHCHR.
